Macademi Wasshoi!'s Review

Mind Blowing Random-Silliness

Alright, so let’s get a Neon review on this anime. This anime is something I’ve never seen before in harem anime.

Story:

Right from the first episode, it’s just a bombing of constantly random shit.

And I don’t mean random as in things happening with no trace of "how", but things tend to be unlikely and surreal. And since it’s awesomely funny or sexy or cute or heart wrenching, it’s all ok with me.

But past the random silliness, there is an interesting anime who’s story consists of a young male main character living in two (technically four) worlds. Where as he leads a normal human life with other young adult humans like himself, but attends a school of magic where he meets gods, demons, angels, robots/cyborgs, etc. There’s just so much stu-

-Ever notice how a large convenient store may have shelves brimming with SO MUCH stuff? Well in my case, it’s that, plus the store has an insane amount in the storage area. That’s what this anime is like! You think you’ve seen randomly awesome anime? Then you need to pay attention to this anime. It’s amazing.

And so for a test in said school of magic: he has to summon a familiar, or a wizard’s/witch’s assistant for the unlearned. Something goes wrong, test goes up in smoke, and he summons this nude tanned beauty of which no one knows what race it is or where it was drawn from.

And that’s all I think is safe to say, so I don’t spoil how this anime will blow you f*cking mind.

Animation:

Colors, characters, and environment is bright and colorful. It blends and mixes well with one another. Character color schemes are sublime to the eye, and makes the characters pop out in a manner that is slightly stereotypical for toons(they’re eyes are f*ckin’ large, and there heads span as wide as there shoulders, and there hair is AAHH-) but looks good in a way that’s easy on my eyes and brain. Both the portion that let’s me separate what is realistic and what isn’t, as well as it’s easy on the my eyeball’s function… such as seeing.

Opening and Ending Theme portrays what the anime has to offer in art very well.

Not all anime can pull off the chibi, MD (Majorly Deformed), style of art (especially if that’s the only style the characters are in) but Macademi Wasshoi knew what it was doing.

Sound

As I try to say in all my reviews, it depends on the mood you’re in that determines if the sound/music/stuff is spectacular/catchy or not.

Opening theme is loud and rhythmical, and the ending theme is tropical or paradise like(for the lack of a better word).

Both themes or fun and fitting.

Characters:

Unlike most harem anime, the main character DOES NOT get beat on by the childhood friend.

HOW ABOUT THAT SHIT?!

Which in my opinion, leaves room for true feelings of characters to blossom and while making me feel good when watching them unleash their fondness for someone. And if not unleashed, then the drama and affection made to keep me waiting for the unleashing is amazing.

It’s gonna blow your f*cking mind when you se-

And all this is possible by the cliche personalities of the characters. Of course not all are cliche, which adds on to the randomness of the anime, so ya.

The main character, Takuto Hasegawa, is smart and noble and makes you interested in how he will react to certain situations.

The familiar, who is named Tanarot, is energetic, loud, and can easily annoy the unprepared.

The childhood friend is uh, bipolar? But both poles seem to have a few things in common. That’s all I’ll say about her, as well as this is the last character i’ll speak about… she’s gonna blow your f*cking mind!!

Enjoyment:

There’s a lot of things to like about this anime. It makes fun of itself in a lot of places, so it’s hard to dislike the anime for anything else but it’s random-silliness.

Overall:

This anime blew my f*ckin’ mind! SO WATCH!!!

The art, the characters, the randomness! This all makes the anime, a must watch. I’m hyped because i’m into the randomly portion of the anime, but it’s just worth shot for many reasons. The comedy, the harem, the action, it’s all… AHH-
