Finished Madoka Magica

    Let me tell ya, this was beyond what I thought it would be. I quickly adapted to the change, and went for the ride it had to offer until the very last second on the last episode.

    Before saying anything else, I don’t think this is the best anime (imo, so don’t bullshit me). Tis interesting though.

    Now, it’s like, they added drama and tragedy and fear into a normally bright-eyed/go-lucky complex(which is magical girl).

    It showed a realistic side to the whole magical girl arrangement. Like real desires and decisions that you make with the power you have or attaining that power. And that’s what made the anime pretty good (imo).

    Instead of predicting a "everyone wins" conclusion throughout the anime, I found myself predicting the more morbid conclusions coming true.

    I’m glad you enjoyed it.

    Beautiful, right?

    It’s IMO the best of its season at least… I just hope I won’t hear people bashing this anime in this thread like I have encountered elsewhere.

    I do not hang around 4chan, and it was only after watching it, that I heard it was an anime to have been discussed more on than Haruhi over there.

    Maybe hyped up, but I’m indifferent to that really. It’s still good.

    Not that there are many contenders for "Best anime of the year" though.
    IMO Steins;Gate and Madoka are the only 2 contending for it. Madoka just happens to be extremely popular.

    I’m on /a/ several hours a day. Madoka is still being discussed there quite a lot. It has had some amazing threads, but sadly it also got trolled a whole lot. It is also true that it is the most discussed anime there, of all time. When it was airing it would quite literally have like 20 threads a day at bump limit.

    I think steins;gate beats madoka.Madoka was great, but I think it was a little overrated.

    I think so too ZC1995.
    Not the part with Madoka being overrated but the part with Steins;Gate being better.
