“Eureka Seven: AO” – TV Anime Sequel Coming April 2012

It has been announced that the sequel to BONES’s hit anime Eureka Seven that will premier this April 2012, is in the works. It will be entitled Eureka Seven Astral Ocean or alternatively, Eureka Seven AO.
The "real mecha epic" will center around a boy named Ao who "set ‘destiny’ in motion again when he held the ‘power.’" Artist Yūichi Katō is drawing the manga based on the 2005-2006 Eureka Seven anime series by BONES.
Prior to the anime, Eureka Seven AO manga will launch in the next issue of Kadokawa Shoten’s Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine on January 26.

for those of you that dont know the manga came out recently. You can read the 1st chapter now.

I can’t wait for this to come out in April! Hopefully the subs will be not to far behind the original episodes, and won’t lead to extra suspense and waiting. For example I know when they released Bleach movie 4 Hell Chapter it took several months for them to come out with the subbed version, and quite frankly I think that we’ve all waited long enough for this next Eureka adventure to come out and April is still 3 months away. Ugh hurry up April can’t wait can’t wait!

Oh honto desu ne? Watashiwa nihongoga scosi wakadimas! I prefer my first language and enjoy listening to the beautiful dialog that is the japanese language.

OMGGGGGGGG YESSSS I LOVE EUREKA!!!!! I swear I thought the story ended with the movie but there is a sequel coming? It was announced there was no season 2 coming out but this is…. I think I have tears in my eyes….

Ahh, now I must catch up with Eureka Seven.
This is amazing, a sequel to Eureka Seven. man 2012 is gonna be awesome, so many great animes coming out and this one is definitly gonna be on the must watch list. I hope that everybody’s predictions become truth, like the main character being renton and eureka’s kid and the old cast getting some screen time. life is good.
Makes me now think the girl in the pic could be Talho and Holland’s daughter - she looks a little like Talho when she had long hair. I wonder if Anemone and Dominic had a child as well!

Wait wut…. 16 year olds got a son and 40 year olds got a daughter and they are the same age? But then again the girl does look a bit older…
Talho is pregnant in the 2nd half of the series. So if Renton and Eureka had a child soon after the 2nd Summer of love that finishes the series, then there wouldn’t be much difference in age.
Sweet I hope that the old cast gets some screen time as well that would be amazing. I bet Ao is Renton’s and Eureka’s son

Cool…you could be right, Zombie, Ao looks like he could be Eureka and Renton’s son. As a human-corallian mix, it will be interesting to see what he can do.
Don’t rely on that thinking though. Remember Eureka had blue-greenish hair because she was from the planet so he might be another one like Eureka.
maybe the plots a lil like Aquarion evolve with it being the next generation taking over from the parents or somet around them lines =]
