these two series have a lot in common concerning the story stelling mode. A succession of stories with romance. Both in schools but one is typical slice of life, the other has quite a bit of fantasy. Enjoy :)

this is the second season of amagami. Still the same narration type. The style of the anime hasn't changed either and I think all the true fans already know of this obvious yet necessary connection.
Quite enjoyable!

Same kinda plot where main characters powers are given by the female companion and a very similar theme as where both of the main characters are involved in a resistance against the governament.

A slice of life with morals and philosophy, it follows Kino and her motorad Hermes on a journey to different places. Each story is self contained, and can be watched out of order without knowing much about the story. Some of the journeys are pleasant, some are somwhat life threatening, and you come away with some knowledge about people and society as a whole.

The emotional loss of a friend/family member and the coping of the related characters after their loss. AnoHana has more of a paranormal touch to it (in Menma).
